It was a little windy but all in all a very nice day. Almost all of the rooms are back to normal. There are a few still 'iffy'. As I said, I have hot water so I am the happiest of campers!
I still have this stupid cough. I don't feel bad...but my chest sure hurts. I'm fed up with it.
What a mess in Dallas for the Super Bowl! Damn...just when you try to plan a really nice party! Speaking of party...I imagine Harry's will be packed tomorrow. Husband made a pot of chili. Or I should say it's cooking now as we speak. He'll simmer it all night. I tasted it earlier and it's really good. I'll probably save back a container of it for us for supper tomorrow. He'll take it down after lunch tomorrow but won't stay for any of the 'festivities'. It's a pot luck moment so I can imagine there will be tons of stuff to eat. The noise level will no doubt be mega decible. Not for this chick. I could care less who plays or wins. But I know it's a fun time.
We got a movie in the mail today. I had ordered it a long time ago on a 'special' but it was out of stock and was finally shipped last week. It's 'The Greatest American Hero'. Do you remember that series? It was on quite a few years ago...it had William Katt, Connie Sellecca and Robert Culp. Katt plays this undercover hero that wears a red and blue 'hero' suit...saves the good guys...dumb but cute. There were 43 shows in the 2-3 year series and it was $10 for the whole shebang. The theme song was the catchy part...I think it goes....Believe it or not I'm walking on air - I never thought I could feel so free - Flying away on a wing and a prayer - Who could it be? Believe it or not it's just me.
I think we are going to watch a couple of the episodes now. Nothing else is on. It's only 9:00 but you know me...gotta have that sleep! I'll be out pretty quick.
