Why, yes she can! Let's see...how difficult is it. Turn on oven - Open box - Take pie out of box - Put pie in oven - Open oven 75 minutes later (yes!!! I said 75 minutes!!) and take cooked pie out. Let pie cool 5 minutes. Cut piece. Cover it with Cool Whip. Eat it.
I have had this pie for a while. As a matter of fact...it's the pie that I bought from a friend who's son was selling yummy stuff to raise money for his soccer team. Since Husband loves cherry pie it seemed like the perfect choice. It was delivered on the day I found out I had diabetes. How friggin' appropriate! I have offered to cook it for Husband several times...but he always says...no, maybe later. This time...he said yes. It looks really good. He just ate some. It's tempting.
"Be strong!" my inner voice is screaming!!
"Shut the f**k up!" my weakened sugar starved skeletal remains are screaming louder...
We'll see who wins...film at 11.....
A little cooler today and cloudy. It was a nothing day for me. I am making jewelry. I'll make some for the shop in the office and some for me. I'll share. And I changed my mind on the watchband. I got tired of looking for watch faces that I liked and took the band back...but I decided on a watch that was there. It has some turquoise on the sides, but still has the expandable band and a decent watch face. I like it. There is a matching one I could get for Husband but it's $140 and I don't think he would wear it. I got him a Chronograph a couple of years ago for Christmas and he likes it. He isn't into a watch for decoration. I'm not, either, but since I have the barter thing going on...I'm OK with this one. And it's actually signed inside...Mellanie/Zuni. Cool. Sorry...you know I take shitty pictures. Do you like the background? It's called...'used kitchen towel with dish cloth'...very chic!!
We will be out of town for a few days. I am ready to go. We don't leave until Monday the 17th, but I could get in the truck right now. I use a purse once a year and this will be it. I replenished my other Blood Glucose Kit and it's already in there. Now I just need the incidentals. Tissues, gum, pad of paper, book, nothing of any consequence, just stuff. I don't like purses. I hope I don't lose it. I am so not used to carrying anything.
Six Days Seven Nights is on. It's kind of cute. Better than...Beyond the Hunt...or...Are You Sure Hitler is Dead??...or that all time family favorite...Monster Jam...
When I went to work this morning there was a dead sparrow in the driveway. Only one...but he was dead alright. Must have hit a Boeing 727 during the night.
Who ever bought the property next door was in a cherry picker this afternoon putting a flag pole up. And I mean way up...It's 50 feet in the air with an American flag and a Texas flag. It looks very nice. When I see them, I'll say thanks.
I think I go back to creating for a while. I'm in the mood.....Have a nice evening!
