BBQ day

Husband cooked brisket and chicken today for the 'rock hunters'. Everyone seemed to have a full stomach when they left...and lots of compliments. Husband definitely knows how to cook brisket. He be the champ. I think there were 32 people who ate and there were practically no leftovers. That's always good. I made brownies. They were nutritious and delicious. Well...maybe not so much nutritious. Maybe next time I'll put nuts in them. Protein. It's a good thing.

Back to work today. I hated it. More of the same tomorrow. I'll hate it.

When I woke up this morning (always a good thing) I forgot where I was...or what state or time zone I was in. Then I snapped. Shit...I'm back in Alpine. I seriously didn't want to get up.

I have to buck up and get busy this week. I have lots to do. It may take a couple of days to get me started but I have a plan....and a list!

Before I forget, I have to post a photo of Husband and his
cousin, The Donz, who I lovingly refer to as Dr. Livingston.
I had sent this to Mumsy earlier and she was unable to see
it...so here it is...for ever...in cyberspace. What a Motley Crew (not to be confused with the real Motley Crue...). What?? You're right...ain't gonna happen.

I say this with love.

I think I'm needing some hot tea and Tylenol. Very long day. See you tomorrow...
