Glorious sunny day!

Even though today was busy, busy, busy...it was a beautiful day. The sun was shining and you could almost hear the grass turn green. Had a salad for lunch...no cupcakes (yet!!) and water all day. Hey, this might not mean much to you...but even one day bread free is monumental for me!

We stopped at the Triangle market (convienence store) for coffee and I could hear those little fruit pies screaming ME!! BUY ME!!!! I was strong! But I'd kill for one right now...

I printed off the 'foods to avoid list for Fybromyalgia' to remind myself once again of how to behave myself. It's depressing.

And I checked on the next craft show...it's not Cinco de Mayo...it's Fiesta del Sol on June 19th. I have already called about a table space. There are usually spaces in front of  downtown businesses for local artists...so I may check to see if I can set up somewhere there, but if not...I can set up in the general artist's area. You never know what the weather will be for that show, either.

Fiesta del Sol is 3-4 days of fun stuff. Most of the stores downtown will offer food and wine or margaritas in the late afternoon and evening. There is always music playing and some local talent performing.  When we first moved here 5 years ago, I set up in front of Front Street Books. I wasn't familiar with the show at that time and I was there with my jewelry at noon. It was hotter than hell and I thought I was going to die!! Not many people were walking around and it was a little disappointing, until I realized that most everyone came out on the streets around 5 PM !!. By then, I was ready to go home...but stayed and had a great and prosperous time! And after a few glasses of wine (which was flowing pretty good by then...since everyone who came by to visit brought me one!) I decided it was a fun show to be at after all!!

I haven't set up since...only because I've been too busy. I hope this works out.

I am going to put a few things together this evening. I have several pre-bagged things to do so I'll get creative.

I got an email from my cousin Susan. (Hi Sue!) She is to have surgery in the next few days and said she was going to print my blog to read while she is in the hospital. I am excited for her to do that.( Read the blog...not have surgery!!) I also want to apologize to her, and anyone else who might read this, but particularly to my family.  I am not a letter writer. I can't explain why I can sit and type this blog (although I do miss days and months at a time!)...but I don't write letters to those who mean so very much to me. I am rude, crude and socially unacceptable!! So, to Sue and all my wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and mother-in-law(!)...I am so sorry I am too lazy to write...but I truly do love you more than life itself. Thank you or being the best memories of my life and making me whole.

I am so fortunate to have a wonderful family and extrordinary friends.

Now I am going to go do something creative with beads. Have an amazing night!
