I'm just plain ol' pooped. I'm still tired from yesterday. It was busy and very hot. Today, it's slightly cooler and almost a little humid right now. We have thunderstorms predicted for this afternoon and evening....and something may actually happen. I don't know.
Today was easy and early, but I have been busy all afternoon. I have some personal stuff that I have neglected because I'm tired when I get home, but I couldn't put this stuff off any longer. Or I would have. You know me...Now it's done and I feel like I have accomplished a lot! Hey Martha...it's a good thing! I even found some chicken in my little bitty freezer that wasn't rotten...so I'm cooking it for supper! Yummy! I'll call it 'Non-Rotten Chicken Dee-lite!' Nutritious and delicious! But I can't cook it until I find out if Dog the Bounty Hunter and his motley crew are gonna get their man! I've got a good feeling about this one....that Dog! What a....whatever he is.
The Casey Anthony Trial has concluded for the day. After OJ I said I wouldn't watch this shit ever again...but if I click on and it's interesting, I watch it. Her mother was on the stand today. It was chilling. Then, one of Casey's best friends took the stand...but I was too busy to stick with it, so I don't know what her testimony was. I know...I know...it's a waste of time to watch such crap, but I'm a crap watcher.
The sky looks ominous. There are currently tornado warnings in Presidio County which is probably 20 miles from here. It's a huge county, and I'm not sure exactly were the storm is located but it looks to be quite widespread according to the radar. It's very dark out right now and normally is still light out...it's a little after 9 PM. We can hear thunder periodically.
How sad...here we so desperately need rain and we may get dumped on and damaged. Husband keeps looking out the front door to report his weather updates...
There is a movie on called Smokey. It's an older 1946 movie with Fred MacMurray and Burl Ives. Burl is singing Jimmy Crack Corn as we speak. Oh oh...Fred just fell off his horse. And the horse was....yep you guessed it!! Smokey! Oh oh. Fred's hurt pretty bad. Smokey's either going to go get help or stomp him to death...I'm not sure which....Nope, nope...wait a second. Fred is trying to pull himself up with the stirrups and he got one arm through it and...well I'll be damned! Old Smokey is draggin Fred through the canyon! Well Damn skippy! I need me a horse like that! This is getting way to exciting for me!
The non rotten chicken was good. I'm full and ready for sleep. I hope the storm doesn't wake me up....if it ever gets here. Have a great night!
