I am full of a lot of things, but right now I am full of Chinese food. Husband killed a chicken and made me a meal. Well...sorta. He ripped the tenders of a flock of Barred Rocks and made me a meal. Kinda. Actually, he bought some chicken tenders at the Thriftway 'Monopoly' Store and
added bean sprouts and mushrooms and onions and celery and bamboo shoots and garlic and...well, you get my drift. Then he cooked it and I ate it. Yummy!!
Guess what...I made it through a whole week of eating the proper food! Well, that's not true. I didn't eat anything from Tuesday to Thursday last week...so not eating at all constitutes me eating properly!
Guess who has a/an herb garden?? Yep! That darn Francine!
I tell ya, she puts on that thinking cap when I leave the room and low and behold...she becomes Francine - The Albino Gardner!
Sure wish she could make money doing something...like modeling. Lazy Bitch.
That basil kinda looks like a Grinch...don't you think?? Well... from here is does.
I feel like eating an entire chocolate cake...right now!! I'm sure I can make jell-o taste like chocolate cake. Yes...I'm sure of it! Don't be stupid. I can have dark chocolate...just not in cake form.
I do believe the storm has passed. The sun is shining bright. It's reflecting off the truck and blinding me...but to actually stand up and close the curtain seems impossible at this minute.
I took a few photos today. I can identify the cactus. I tried to get a closeup of a ladybug. She looked like a smear. Poor thing. I like the thunderhead behind the tree...It looks like a halo. I suck at posting photos!!
We gets some amazing skies around here. I wish I was capable of taking those 'OMG Isn't that bee-u--tea-full' photos. Mine are the 'What the hell were you looking at??' photos...
Years ago we lived in South Texas. The house was one of those big old farm houses with the porch all along the front...14 foot high ceilings...big old windows...big old trees. I loved that house. Well, I took a picture one time...and it took us 10 years to figure out that I had a attempted to capture a butterfly on the screen. I'm telling you...you could turn that photo in a complete 360 degree circle and say 'What the hell were you looking at??' with each revolution. One day, one of the kids said...Wow! Look at the butterfly! And I said...Yeah!! Isn't that amazing? Hey! I'm not going to admit I'm too stupid to remember what I was looking at! To this day I still can't see a friggin' butterfly in there.
Husband is making some jelly. Port wine jelly. It smells great. It would go great with chocolate cake!!
See ya!
