Since you already know what an anal bitch I am...I won't elaborate. It's busy at work. I like it that way. And some interesting folks came in today. I like that, too. Isn't it funny how interesting other people's live are? For instance....
One lady who came in today was in town for the Cowboy Poetry thing...but as a secondary visit.
She was attending an Elder Care seminar for research for her 4th...you heard it...4th Master's and decided that today was the day to buy a few turquoise rings. Hence the visit to the shop and a bit of interesting conversation. She is from Shreveport, La...has an apartment in Austin, TX....family in North Carolina and loves the Rocky Mountains. Thinks there's nothing better than turquoise and coral and likes unique settings on rings and sunsets. Can't believe the beauty of fire and feels that hummingbirds are a gift from God. Wants to run over her cell phone and learn to knit a sweater. Misses her husband who died from diabetes (ouch!) and wishes she could share just one more day in Big Bend with him where they got married...
By now, I am feeling the tugging at my heartstrings and am glad I didn't miss the day here. In the office. In West Texas. In my humbled existence. I'm so lucky.
